It receives Z-Wave and Z-Wave Plus signals, repeats them, and then rebroadcasts them to your Z-Wave home automation network, improving their range and reliability. Aeotec's Range Extender 7 works seamlessly to amplify and repeat weak Z-Wave and Z-Wave Plus signals.
Just plug it into a power outlet, connect it to your Z-Wave network and it will automatically start improving the weak Z-Wave signals that are in range.
Built on Aeotec Gen7's proprietary hardware and firmware, it has up to 250% higher wireless range than the Range Extender 6 and non-Gen7 technology.
The Range Extender 7 is built on the most advanced wireless automation technology available. It combines the unique Aeotec Gen7 technology with the Z-Wave Plus V2 and 700 series. This allows it many improvements, including S2 security and installation via SmartStart.

Je l'utilise même à l'extérieur et il supporte très bien l'hiver !
I did put a Zooz door sensor on our outside gate. No connection to my Homey Pro. I did use 2 signal repeaters and have a perfect connection now! Super fast delivery and very easy to connect to Homey Pro! Thanks Domotique shop ????
J'avais besoin d'étendre mon réseau z-wave à un garage sous-terrain pour commander l'ouverture d'une porte de garage + état d'ouverture. Pas de réseau avec la "maillage" habituel, probablement à cause de la ferraille +++ dans le béton armé. En faisant un relais de 2 répéteurs z-wave dans le couloir qui mène au garage, ça marche tip-top !!! Installation facile sur la box eedomus.
Facile da installare anche con sistema domotico Open (OpenHAB 3). Potenzia la rete e riesce a raggiungere zone difficilmente raggiungibili (cantina in cemento armato).
