MCOHOME - 9 in 1 Z-Wave Air Quality Sensor
The MCOHome A8-9 is a multifunctional Z-wave environmental surveillance sensor, with a clear 3.5 inch screen.
It has integrated humidity, PM2,5, CO2, COV, PIR, luminosity, noise and smoke sensors/detectors. The device can be included in a home automation device or a compatible Z-wave software program.
It is mainly used to measure interior air quality, the presence of personnel, the detection of background noise and changes in lighting.
9 sensors in 1!
- Temperature sensor: detection of interior temperature
- Humidity sensor: Display of ambient humidity in real time
- COV detector: data / level of residual volatile organic compounds
- Noise sensor: information on decibels for convivial living conditions
- Light intensity sensor: light intensity report for energy-efficient lighting.
- Movement detector: movement detection
- Smoke detector: quick visual alert as soon as smoke is detected.
- CO2 detector: display of carbon dioxide concentration
- PM2.5 detector: Surveillance of the concentration of 2.5 particles

Pretty straightforward to unpack and install. Getting values displayed on the LCD works out of the box. Pretty easy to connect to an existing Z-Wave network. Unfortunately, the CO2 reading is not properly sent to the network, it always sends 0. Confirmed on two openzwave 1.4 and 1.6 networks. Temperature, noise, lux work fine. But I'm unable to get the CO2 reading via the Z-Wave network.
