It will warn you in case of flooding or when the temperature rises or falls rapidly. Its neat design and compact size will allow it to easily find its place in your home to ensure the safety of the whole family.

This detector can be powered by battery or by an external power supply 12 or 24 VDC. When powered by an external source, the battery serves as a backup power supply. In this configuration, the detector also acts as a Z-Wave signal repeater.

Any abnormal event will be transmitted to the equipment of your Z-Wave network, or to any wired alarm system, via its NF dry contact output. The built-in acoustic alarm and the LED light of the detector will inform you in a simple and quick way in case of an anomaly. The LED indicator also provides a visual indication of the quality of the Z-Wave network.

But that's not all, the flood detector of FIBARO has a tilt sensor to inform you if the sensor is moved.

The FGFS-101-zw5 is waterproof and floats on the surface of the water. It can be placed on the floor, but can also be installed on a wall using a wired probe.
