The Heiman gas sensor is designed to prevent the risks caused by a gas leak. If gas is detected, a sound alarm will be triggered and a Z-wave signal sent to the main control box.

Powered by mains electricity, the sensor can also serve as a repeater to extend its Z-wave network.
