*More about the probe

The food probe is designed to withstand temperatures of up to 350°C. However, to ensure reliable measurements, it has been oven-tested up to around 200°C (400°F), the recommended limit of use.
The probe contains an internal resistor and is most accurate around 93°C (200°F). The further the measured temperature deviates from this value, the lower the accuracy. For this reason, its use is recommended up to 204°C (400°F).
